How long do I leave the Bronzing Foam on for?

For a more subtle glow only leave on for 2 hours, or for the darkest finish leave on for 8 hours (or overnight).

Will my tan transfer onto clothing?

While the tan is developing and before it is washed off, be mindful that it may transfer on to clothing and bedding, however as our Bronzing Foam is quick drying the transfer should be minimal.

Will moisture or water affect my tan?

It is important to avoid contact with water while the tan is developing. Water will rinse away the active ingredient that needs time to work before you wash it off. Therefore we recommend avoiding exercise that makes you sweat during this time. However after the tan has fully developed, contact with water including swimming will not affect the tan.

Do I need to exfoliate before tanning?

Exfoliating before tanning will help to prevent patchiness and ensure an even finish. We recommend exfoliating 24 hours before tanning, as this allows the amino acids to replenish after exfoliating. The active ingredient in tanning products creates colour through a chemical reaction with amino acids on the skin, therefore the more of them, the more effective the tan will be.

Should I moisturize before tanning?

We highly recommend applying moisturiser to particularly dry areas before tanning, including hands, wrists, feet, ankles, elbows and knees. Tan has a tendency to overdevelop on these dry areas and moisturising helps to prevent this. We do not recommended moisturising other areas of the body before tanning.

How long will my tan last?

Your tan should last between 5-7 days, and with proper preparation and regular moisturising it can last even longer. However, everyone's skin naturally exfoliates at a different rate.

Can I use the Bronzing Foam on my face?

You can apply the Bronzing Foam to your face. However, being a generally sensitive area it’s important to patch test first. If you do have sensitive or problematic skin, we recommend avoiding face applications.
